Healthy Eating: Food for Thought

We've put the spotlight firmly on healthy eating this month and, in line with our healthy eating policy, we are encouraging our boys to eat nutritious, health-giving snacks and lunches. Ms. Campbell is spearheading this campaign and, with the help of Ms. McBride's Fourth Class, created the above display in our school to show just how much sugar lurks in some popular snack foods.

One Winder, for instance, has one and half teaspoons of sugar, while a Petit Filous has 2.1 teaspoons of sugar. It may bbe time to take a closer look at food labels to see what lurks beneath. Meanwhile, take a closer look at our board here now, and when you're next in our school.
