We had a marvelous time with our friends from Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Poland and Italy over the course of last week. The students, alongside our own Erasmus club got very involved with all the aspects of the project work as you can see from the photographs here. The visitors had a very special presentation of the projects videos in Gliondar Mara and they also had a great time sampling various Irish sports-handball, Gaelic football and hurling-in our hall and in our back yard.
Then on Friday, three very musical visitors treated us all to a great ceilí session in our hall. Donal Smith, Michael McMahon, Riley and Pat, played a variety of tunes that had us all clapping and singing along. Then we took to our feet and enjoyed the Walls of Limerick and Siege of Ennis dances under the guidance of Ms Mullen. The visitors joined in with each of the activities with great gusto and thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities. But all good things come to an end. There were hugs, tears and sighs as the visitors left. Arrivaderci, Sudie,pożegnanie, brzy se uvidíme-See you all again soon! Comments are closed.
